Chamber Launches New Business Quarterly Magazine

The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce announced the launch of its newest publication -- Rhode Island Business Quarterly (RIBQ). The magazine, which will debut in September, is being designed to dig deeper into the events, issues and people that create and shape the Rhode Island regional economic landscape.

Created in partnership with Rhode Island Monthly Communications, RIBQ is targeted at giving site selection officials, young professionals, corporate executives, small business owners and potential newcomers a glimpse at the hotbed of entrepreneurial activity, investment and job growth happening in and around Rhode Island. Each issue will include an in-depth feature story focused on area business initiatives and policies;  a Snapshot of Success – a look at innovative new business practices being embraced by local companies; a Business Report – a round up of current news; and a Calendar of Events.

“This is a unique forum that will allow the Chamber to create a dialogue on important economic development issues and trends, while at the same time highlighting the people and the companies that are successful navigating today’s business climate,” said Laurie White, president of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce.  “Our goal is to offer new ways of thinking about business. We see RIBQ as a resource to understand the changing regional economy, address opportunities for change and help businesses run more productively, more competitively and more creatively.”

With an estimated readership of 30,000, RIBQ will have a focused distribution list that includes the region’s most influential opinion leaders and business officials. A digital edition of RIBQ will also be posted on the Chamber’s web site www.providencechamber.com
