The purpose of the schedule is to provide you with a smooth and efficient move in to Business EXPO 2008.  Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.

 

Aisles 100 to 500  -- 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon 

Aisles 600 to 800  -- 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. 

Aisles 900 to 1200 -- 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  

Move in guidelines:
1. No vehicles are allowed to park in the loading dock area.  Once your vehicle has been unloaded, you must remove your vehicle from the loading dock area.
2. Personnel will be available at the loading dock to move in your exhibit and materials if you need assistance.

3. It is suggested that exhibitors park in the Rhode Island Convention Center Garage, Level 3D West.  Parking in this area will provide you with the quickest access to the rear of the show floor.  (A door on this level leads directly to the loading dock area.) Important Note : in order to provide a trouble-free move in for everyone, exhibitors must move in at their schedule time.

If you cannot set up before 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, you will have  to set up on Tuesday, May 6, before the show opens at 10:00 a.m. Please contact the Chamber office at 401.521.5000 if this is not possible.

 

We ask that exhibitors do not begin to break down their exhibit until 3:00 p.m.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation.There are no formal move out times.  We will move out exhibitors as quickly as possible.

1. Pack your exhibit.  Show personnel will be moving through the aisles.  When you are ready to move, please let them know.  As with move in, personnel will be available to assist you.

2.Your vehicle will not be allowed to the loading dock until notified.

 

Important Note: All materials must be moved out by 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7 as the Convention Center has another show moving in.

 

Early move out: Dismantling of exhibits will not be allowed until posted closing of exhibits on second day.  Refer to show hours above.

Security: Show management provides security on a 24-hour basis.  The primary purpose of security is to prevent any unauthorized person from entering the exhibit hall.  (Person must register and wear an EXPO 2008 badge.)  No one will be admitted into exhibit hall before or after Show hours unless prior arrangements have been made with Show management.

 

Arrangements should be made by exhibitors to properly secure items which could be stolen during the show or during move in or move out.

 

Liability: Show management does not assume liability for exhibit loss or damage to property (see Rules & Regulations per your contract).  Exhibitors are required to have insurance against such loss or damage.
