This historic Squantum Association graciously hosted this month’s Business After Hours, held Tuesday, February 22.

More than 125 members enjoyed the stunning bay view from inside the historic bake house venue, while enjoying a sampling of the facility’s menu. Special thanks to Squantum’s General Manager Correntin Corre for hosting and coordinating the event!

The Chamber has a long tradition of working with the Squantum Association and were truly excited to officially welcome our members to this newly renovated space, which has maintained the buildings historic quality and glamour while adding the most up-to-date technology and amenities.

Wicked Good Bar & Grill at Twin River provided a perfect (and much needed) break from winter’s fury Thursday, February 3 as more than 100 local business professionals gathered for the Chamber’s Business After Hours event.

A true Rhode Island experience created and brought to life by the management at Twin River, at Wicked Good Bar 7 Grill, attendees were surrounded by the memorabilia of their favorite sports teams, while they networked and sampled some of the fabulous menu items available.

What a great night of holiday networking!

Thank you to The Inskip Collection for hosting close to 150 local business professionas. The Inskip Collection has been a great supporter of the Chamber and our member companies and we are especially grateful for the company’s sponsorship of the Chamber’s 2010 Membership Campaign. Thank you to Jack Guthrie, area vice president of the Inskip Collection and Ron Girouard, the General Manager of Inskip BMW for their role in making this year’s campaign so successful.

Special recognition also goes to Ashley Garzone, marketing facilitator for the Inskip Collection for coordinating the event as well as Joe Lembo and our friends at Citadel radio for co-sponsoring and promoting the event.

The evening also included a tribute to our Ambassador of the Year Dan Hartman, senior mortgage advisor with Province Mortgage Associates. and recognition of the volunteers who helped drive this year’s 2010 Membership Campaign, themed “The Power to Win” and presented by The Inskip Collection. Twenty four member company volunteers brought 118 new members to the Chamber over the 8 week program period.

Top Team Winners were Ambassador Team Winner, led by Tony Cattani, and the Corporate Team Winner was Piccerelli, Gilstein & Co. LLP, led by Irene Fasano. Individual winners were Chamber Ambassador Tony Cattani in first place and Irene Fasano from Piccerelli, Gilstein & Co. LLP in a close second.

Celebrating the importance of shopping locally this holiday season, the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce teamed up with Alpine Ski & Snowboard in Warwick for this month's Business After Hours networkign event.


Thank you to Rick Sceery and Brian Singman, owners of Alpine for supporting the Chamber as new members and inviting us all to see the showcase of great holiday gifts they have here. The store, which ecently re-opened after a 12 year hiatus, provided the perfect backdrop for a night of networking.

The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce joined our friends from the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce at the Warwick Mall, Tuesday, October 26 to kick off the holiday season with a night of networking.

The mall and its devastation provided a compelling image for the nation to understand the impact of our state’s historic flood on local businesses both large small. So the business After Hours event was the perfect opportunity to celebrate its success.

Thank you to Aram Garabedian of Bliss properties as well as Linda Campbell, the Warwick Mall Marketing Director and General Manager Domenic Schiavone for coordinating the event. Thank you also to Lauren Slocum, president and CEO of the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce and Maria Puleo, office manager for partnering with us!

It was a great night of networking.

The Crowne Plaza's new Garden Pavilion was the perfect night for a night of joint networking with friends from the Providence Warwick Convention and Visitors Bureau. The event attracted upwards of 150 business professionals.

Thank you to Nail Communications for hosting the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce August Business After Hours. While rain may have kept us inside, the Nail office in downtown Providence was the perfect backdrop for a great night of networking.

The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce was pleased to join our friends from the South Kingstown Chamber of Commerce here at the University of Rhode Island’s Graduate School of Oceanography Science and Exploration Center for this month's Business After Hours.

What a great place for summer networking!

One of the state's newest and "greenest" buildings played host for the June business After Hours held June 22 at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island.

It was a fantastic night of networking at this year's Statewide Business After Hours held at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on Thursday, April 22.
